rhs wisley glasshouse wedding

I love that every RHS Wisley Glasshouse wedding is different. Not only of course my awesome clients, but the way they plan their day. Sam and Ella chose to have their ceremony in the Waterlily Pavilion, and they chose to decorate it in the most beautiful way with an aisle of meadow flowers – foxgloves, peonies, scabious, and finished with oak leaves. After the ceremony they exited through a shower of rose petals, and we spent some time taking portraits in the cottage garden and wisteria walkway, before they joined their guests at the glasshouse terrace for their reception.

They chose to have long tables, with the most beautiful natural, wild, cottage garden flower displays. It looked so gorgeous. Flowers were everywhere, even decorating the cake. I found it impossible to stop taking photos of it all, it was just so pretty.

After the drinks reception everyone headed inside for lovely speeches which had everyone laughing. Because we’d had lovely sunny weather that day we got a stunning golden hour, so we jumped in the buggy to the top of the rock garden to make the most of it and it was definitely worth it. I always love the evening portraits, people are so relaxed and the pressure is all off them. Plus, look at that light! It was definitely worth it.

You can see another recent RHS Wisley glasshouse wedding, with the ceremony also in the waterlily pavilion, HERE I really do love photographing at Wisley. Not only is it gorgeous (I love flowers!) but the team are fab.
