This was my first RHS Wisley Waterlily Pavilion Ceremony even though I’ve photographed there so many times over the years (you can see just one of those HERE), no one has chosen the Waterlily Pavilion for their ceremony until now (and now I have 4 this year!) Jess and Daniel decided to do the day their way, and it was so unique. Their ceremony was at 4pm with the waterlily pond as a backdrop, followed by drinks in the pavilion with canapes and music. We headed to the cottage garden and wisteria walkway for some portraits on the buggy before they exited through a shower of confetti, dancing their guests down to the glasshouse while music like ‘The Bear Necessities’ was played by a saxophonist and guitarist from the band The White Keys. At the glasshouse they welcomed more guests for drinks on the lawns, with the awesome Robert Fox the Mindreader performing for them (he’s incredible!), before heading into the glasshouse for Dad to do his hilarious speech which had everyone in stitches! Afterward the band started up again and everyone hit the dancefloor to party the night away! At 9pm Kalm Kitchen served chips and wraps which went down a storm. The day was full of laughter and fun, such lovely guests who made me feel so welcome. I really am very lucky with my clients (and venues!) I can’t wait for my next Wisley Waterlily Pavilion ceremony in a few weeks, every client always brings their own style and I love that!
