Pangdean Barn Wedding - Kimberly & James

I love a Pangdean Barn wedding! My very first one was there in 2011, and it’s such a lovely place, literally 10 minutes from me with stunning views. The team are so organised so everything runs smoothly, meaning couples can just enjoy their day. This was my first outdoor ceremony and it was perfect, held beneath the dappled shade of the trees in a gorgeous little wooden cabin. Afterwards they walked through a shower of confetti petals before loads of hugs and kisses with the people they loved. They danced into their meal while everyone cheered. During the meal we snuck up the hill for some photos at golden hour, taking a little time away from all the noise to just have a moment together while the sun went down. The light was stunning! I always recommend splitting up the portraits so you’re not away from your guests for hours, this way you really enjoy your day. Plus we get to make the most of the early evening light like this! The hill is such a special part of a Pangdean Barn wedding, I always try to get up there if we have time.

After the meal they had some really funny speeches which had everyone in stitches, before more drinks outside. They entered for the first dance through an aisle of sparklers, into their first dance. Then they danced the night away to a series of 90s bangers, honestly, the dance floor was never empty, it was amazing. The DJ Nick is such a nice guy, but also knows exactly what to play when the mood is dropping a little, if you even thought about leaving the dance floor he’d bring out another serious tune and everyone would stay on. I was sad to leave but I had a wedding the next day.
