Anna and Andrew were married in July at St Martins Church in Horsley in a moving ceremony by the lovely Rector Renos Pittarides. He was also happy to incorporate a Coptic crowning for Andrews Egyptian family which was really lovely to witness. I know churches often have such bad experiences with wedding photographers so it was great to hear that he thought I was very discreet and he didn’t notice me during the ceremony – it’s so important to work together so everyone has the best experience. This was my first Horsley church wedding so I can’t wait to be back. If you are planning a wedding at Wisley but want a church ceremony then I can definitely recommend a St Martins Horsley church wedding.
They exited the church through a shower of confetti and drove away in a Porsche while their guests left in a red bus. At RHS Wisley we had a wander around the stunning gardens for some relaxed portraits before their drinks reception outside the glasshouse with lots of hugs and kisses. We had a big group photo outside the glasshouse before everyone cheered and waved napkins for their really joyous entrance to dinner by the fab Fresh Catering and Events. We took a moment to head up to the hill towards sunset for a few more portraits, before emotional speeches. Followed by some excellent dancing! I am so lucky to have the loveliest clients, it always feels like my job isn’t a job.
