Hi, I’m Tarah!
wedding and family photography
I’m a junk collector and eBay addict, geeky National Trust lover and oracle of random knowledge. I’m in love with a boy that I married in a wood in Norfolk, and now we live with Merlin and Izzy, our two fluffy rescue cats, in Brighton, a place we absolutely love.
After IVF we welcomed two small humans into our life, Finn (4) and Bailey (2) and now life is a little bit insane but lots of fun. I really appreciate family photography now and love capturing those moments. I have been a full time wedding photographer since 2011 and have photographed nearly 400 weddings.
MY STYLE
natural, relaxed, fun
I specialise in creating beautiful, timeless, relaxed photographs of your day. I have a natural reportage style which my clients and their guests love, meaning I can slip into the background and capture the moments as they happen. But above all, I love what I do. I love being a part of your wedding day, right from the start, sharing the laughter and the tears, and capturing these moments that one day your grandchildren may look at. It’s an honour to be invited into a part of your life, if even just for a day.
Because my style is so flexible it doesn’t rely on having photographed at the same venue or being in the same area – every wedding is different and I am highly trained at working in all types of lighting conditions – 70% of the weddings you see on my website were venues I had not seen before the day.
My aim is to be the easiest part of your day and I love that most wedding guests assume I am a friend with cameras rather than just the wedding photographer – I hope that it shows that I fit into your day and manage to be discreet and friendly.
