Wow, what a romantic Soho House wedding! It didn’t stand out because of the detail, or the dress, or the flowers (even though they were all lovely). It was because of the people. I met Mark in London in 2013. Rafaela was in Brazil, Mark in London, and they were living apart while they hand to sort out a visa. Sadly because of some silly red tape a week before the wedding they were told the visa wouldn’t come through in time so they had to cancel everything. After another 8 months of jumping through hoops Rafaela could finally move to London and the wedding was back on and they managed to rebook for exactly a year later. Because of the late notice a lot of guests couldn’t make it, but they were there in spirit. Throughout all of this Rafa and Mark were gracious, and lovely, and made me feel such a big part of their day and I was so excited to be a part of their day. It was incredibly emotional and there wasn’t a dry eye during the ceremony, you can see how much everyone cares about these guys. It was a day of overwhelming love.
