This was my first Saltdean Lido wedding and it was so worth the wait! I am a massive fan of Art Deco architecture and have been watching the renovations with interest over the years as I’m just 10 minutes down the road in Brighton. I’ve always wanted to photograph a Saltdean Lido wedding so I was really pleased when Vicky and Andy got in touch for their July wedding. It’s so perfect for a relaxed day, a huge light filled room with those beautiful big windows for the ceremony and meal, then the private terraces for your drinks reception. After the ceremony we went downstairs for confetti in front of the iconic Saltdean Lido sign. We went in for the delicious meal, followed by heartfelt speeches and wow, that cape! Later in the evening the sunset was to die for, absolutely beautiful. We jumped in their VW camper van and headed to the top of the hill to take some photos where the strong winds made for some pretty epic portraits just the two of them. What a perfect day. I can’t wait to be back again in April this year!
