I love a Putney wedding! I go there quite a bit to photograph weddings at London Rowing Club and Thames Rowing Club, both lovely and unique venues with gorgeous views of the river. There’s nothing more beautiful than watching the sun go down from the balcony with your guests.
Rachel and Gus wanted to see each other before the wedding and walk in together, something so lovely to do. The ceremony was lovely, followed by confetti down the aisle and a large group photo down by the river before high tide. Drinks were on the balcony while the room was turned around with even more gorgeous flowers by Into The Wild – so beautiful. The speeches were funny and sweet, and afterwards we headed down to the river for more portraits. Later on Superspokes took to the floor for dancing as the sunset happened. I love that everyone does it differently, they make it unique for them and that’s what makes it special.
