Thea and Joel hosted a Grand Hotel Brighton wedding with their self-titled Big Fat Greek Jewish Wedding. It was a black tie event and Thea wore a beautiful Grecian style wedding dress, while Joel wore a blue tux with bow tie. The ceremony room was decorated with a stunning floral arch decorated with gypsophila and the rest of the flowers were a mix of yellow. They had a civil ceremony followed by a Jewish blessing and there was so much laughter throughout! The drinks reception was held in the hotel, followed by the speeches and wedding breakfast in the adjacent room. After this we went for a walk to Brighton Bandstand for portraits at sunset. You can actually hold a wedding ceremony on the bandstand, and it’s a stunning location overlooking the sea. It was lovely for them to get a moment to themselves, I think it’s a really important part of the day and we were rewarded with a gorgeous sunset, which Brighton is famous for. Afterwards there was Greek dancing and Jewish chair dancing and they partied until late into the night!
