Glasshouse Wedding - Katie & Kaan

I love a glasshouse wedding and have been so lucky to photograph at the 3 best! Kew Gardens, Syon Park and the gorgeous RHS Wisley where I am a recommended supplier. Glasshouse weddings really are so special, full of light and plants, making them perfect even in bad weather as it brings the outdoor inside. Katie and Kaan hoped there wouldn’t be rain but I’m not sure anyone thought it would as hot as it was! Still, they somehow managed to look absolutely gorgeous the entire day, the black tie is such a lovely touch. Their ceremony was held in the Waterlily Pavilion overlooking the lake, before drinks on the lawn outside the glasshouse.

They really wanted to use as much of the gardens as we could for photos and we really made the most of them! Because it had been such a gorgeous day we were lucky enough to get the golden hour we were looking for up on the hill overlooking the glasshouse, as well as in the glasshouse as well, plus we got a gorgeous sunset during the evening. They are massive Taylor Swift fans so every guest received a friendship bracelet with their name and their first dance was to ‘Lover’, it was so beautiful to watch. I am very lucky that my couples are so amazing, and these guys were no exception. So sweet and welcoming, with lovely families and friends. I was with them for 10 hours and it flew by. What a day! I can’t wait for my next glasshouse wedding, they’re so special.
