The things I love about being a festival wedding photographer? The pure joy on people’s faces and the fun that’s had by everyone.
Sam and Ant were married at Brick House Farm in Kent in their rustic ceremony barn, followed by a relaxed festival wedding day with a coconut shy, accordion player, juggling (by dad!), uni-cycling and resident geese, before a couple of speeches in the barn. Afterwards more guests arrived for a blessing beneath the tree in the grounds with guests sat in a semi circle on hay bales. There were a few words of wisdom and the sound of everyone singing carrying across the lake as the light went golden. Then as the sun was setting we took a moment for portraits to really capture these two as a couple, which of course were topped off with a large tug-o-war, the first dance (which was a song written as a surprise by Ant!) and then One Night Standeoke played while guests sang! It was a truly epic day. But above all, it was 100% them.
