Whether it’s the tiniest of newborn toes, cheeky toddlers, moody teenagers, mums to be or family reunions, I specialise in honest, creative, beautiful portraiture that captures and celebrates real character, spirit and individuality.
People who come to me for their photographs generally don’t love having their photo taken, they want real photos, that really captures who they are as a family, combined with some lovely more posed photos as well as a happy medium.
I use natural light to capture that little slice of your life – either in your own home, in your local park, or on the beach. I want to tell a story that is unique to you and also have fun in the process. I know family life is messy and chaotic, but it also has these beautiful moments that you cherish forever.
Why choose me?
I have two children so I understand what life with kids is! Even as a photographer I have so few photos of myself with my children. I’m always so busy rushing around after them that we have lots of photos of them on our phones, but hardly any lovely framable ones, especially as a family together. Which is why we have a family photoshoot every year as well, for gorgeous photos but also so I understand even more what it’s like on the other side of the camera.
I get it. I know that asking children to stand still can be so difficult, so I never get stressed about it. I can chat through the best times to have the photoshoot to avoid meltdowns, plus incorporate lots of breaks and little games to make sure you all enjoy it. I love what I do, and I want you to love it too.
What can we expect?
This is the chance to take a few hours out from your busy lives to relax and enjoy each others company. With two small children of my own I pride myself on being able to make it fun and get the best out of your time with me.
Before the day I make sure to find out all about your family and agree on a location that you love and will work well for photos. On the day we will walk and chat, and I’ll give you some things to do to make it fun for everyone and capture the best photos without making it feel too staged.
You don’t need to be comfortable posing, my style means you don’t have to be. 99% of my clients come to me because they don’t feel natural in front of the camera, or their only experience of photos is posing for a phone camera.
3 easy steps
STEP 1 – SESSION FEE
This includes 1-1.5 hours of photography, my advice document and any chat before the day, editing the images and the online gallery.
STEP 1 – THE PHOTOSHOOT
We meet somewhere we choose together and spend time taking meaningful photos of you all. I can recommend lots of locations for outdoor photoshoots as well – the beach, woods, fields, down by the sea. For newborns I generally do these at home, snuggled up, keeping warm but also really emphasising that lovely newborn bubble.
STEP 3 – CHOOSE YOUR PACKAGE Within 1-2 weeks you’ll receive your online gallery of 50+ images and from there you can choose from my packages and products. The packages start from £250 and extra products can be added on top of that.
Photoshoot
£80 midweek / £90 weekend session fee

- Photoshoot for up to 6 people at a location of your choice (extra people £25 per person)
- Travel within 15 miles of Brighton
- 1-1.5 hour of photography
- Online gallery for convenient product ordering
- This does not include any digital files or products

After the photoshoot you receive an online gallery with 50+ images to choose from. You choose a package below – but you can also add on any products or extra digital images from the gallery shop too.

- One x 10 x 8 print

BUMP TO BABY PACKAGE
£160 (weekdays) £180 (weekends)
The perfect present for those expecting a baby. Those early days go by in a flash but this means you won’t miss those precious moments. Vouchers available to purchase.

- Newborn photoshoot (at 2-10 weeks old)

KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY
£160 midweek / £190 weekend (subject to availability)
