What a day! The skies cleared and the sun shone for this Brighton alternative wedding of Hayley and Clo – the hair, the outfits, the dried flowers, those boots! What I love about living in Brighton is how individual people are, you can be whoever you want to be – and Hayley and Clo came all the way from the West Midlands to have their intimate ceremony in Brighton, somewhere that has their heart from the many years of coming here for Pride.

The ceremony was gorgeous, with personalised vows that had everyone in tears. Afterwards we headed upstairs for some photos beneath the skylights, such a hidden gem of the town hall, before they were showered in confetti outside. We walked down to the pier for photos, then into the Lanes and North Laines for more portraits, walking up to The White Rabbit for their reception – the place they got engaged at the last Pride event! The colours of the street art worked so beautifully with their colourful style. I was there for only 2 hours for this Brighton alternative wedding, my micro wedding package fits perfectly for these intimate midweek weddings, I love photographing them.
