A Richmond tipi wedding you say? Yes! When I met Rebecca and Phil I knew this was not going to be a normal wedding day and I wasn’t wrong! Rebecca wore a stunning bespoke blush dress with a lace top by Balvinder Chawla, whilst the boys wore penguin suits in honour of the nickname they have for each other. Rebecca made her bouquet from vintage brooches, whilst the bridesmaids carried bouquets of colourful pom poms. The ceremony was at one of my favourite venues, Orleans House Gallery in Richmond, followed by a walk to the ferry where we all piled into a rowing boat flotilla – although several of our boats separated from the group leaving us stranded on the river with only a bottle of champagne for company! After we were rescued we arrived at Petersham Meadows, the home of Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts and a fantastic space for the wedding tipis. We managed to avoid the forecast thunder storms and everyone partied away in the field, with live music, paella and ice cream. I honestly don’t think Rebecca and Phil stopped laughing for just one minute, it was amazing.
