This is a favourite Nonsuch Mansion wedding for me, Fiona and Pete put so much effort into the details for the day and it looked truly gorgeous. It was a wintery November day but the light was perfect and it made it perfect for a cosy wedding reception. The bridesmaids got ready upstairs in the gorgeous bridal suite, watching the guests arrive from the windows. Fiona’s dad gave her away and the ceremony was full of emotion on all sides – it truly was such an honour to meet both families. After the ceremony they left through a shower of confetti to have their portraits in the lovely golden winter light. Afterwards there were drinks inside before fantastic speeches in a gorgeously decorated room, with so many details in old books and gold leaf painted squashes, it was heaven to photograph! That’s what I love about a Nonsuch Mansion wedding, they are all so unique, every time feels like the first time there. In the evening Fiona went upstairs and changed into her mums wedding dress, a complete surprise for her mum who cried when she saw her walk out through sparklers to end the night. It was lovely to be a part of.
