I love being a London elopement photographer. It’s an incredible honour to be a part of something so intimate. Chime and Zuhair live in America but with friends and family spread all over the country organising a wedding was seeming like a mammoth task. So they decided to elope to London. They found me via Instagram and I couldn’t wait to photograph their day. I arrived at the quaint little Hazlitt’s Hotel in Soho on a rainy day in May but nothing was going to dampen the spirit of these two wonderful people. Chime wore a gorgeous white dress from the high street with a circlet of flowers on her head by Jodie at Boutique Blooms. They got ready together in their little Georgian townhouse room, adjusting ties and button holes and writing their vows. We then jumped in a taxi to head through London to a London park for photos in the rose garden, before Chime and Zuhair found the perfect spot to whisper their vows to each other beneath an arch of beech leaves. It was so emotional and truly an amazing moment to be a part of and I wish them all the luck in the world.
