This was my first Goodwood House wedding and it was gorgeous. I’ve wanted to photograph a Goodwood House wedding in a long time, it’s famous for many reasons but the interior is just stunning. Sophie arrived at Goodwood House with her dad in a beautiful old Rolls Royce. The ceremony was held in the yellow room, with so much laughter. Sophie and Lewis laughed the whole way through it. Afterwards they danced out of their ceremony into confetti and a big group photo on the steps. Afterwards they enjoyed drinks outside having dodged the rain. We explored the grounds for portraits, having photos in Sophie’s favourite part of Goodwood, the Tapestry Room. The ballroom was made up with candlelight for the meal, a gorgeous red room covered in paintings with a minstrels gallery at one end. It was a breathtaking sight. The speeches were fun and emotional, followed by some more portraits outside the house while everyone was in at dinner. They danced the night away to a band. The Goodwood Wedding team were so lovely to work with, the head butler looked after everyone so calmly. And Sophie and Lewis were just so much fun, I really am lucky to have the clients that I do.
