This was my first Farbridge Wedding and it was lovely. The weather forecast was pretty terrible but we managed to get the breaks in the rain whenever we really needed it which was so lucky. The rain stopped in time for all the most important parts of the day, including confetti, portraits and group photos. I was prepared with my pretty umbrellas but we didn’t end up needing the in the end The autumn leaves looked amazing after the rain and the colours popped beautiful in the portraits just before the sun went down and it started pouring down again. Lizzie looked stunning in a gold sequin wedding dress and her mothers wedding veil, plus white trainers! I loved it all, I wish I’d worn trainers when I got married! They were so relaxed and lovely all day. We had a lovely walk over the bridge and up the lane for some photos just the two of them. The speeches were funny and sweet, and after sparklers outside they danced the night away to a band.
I love a barn wedding! Whilst this was my first Farbridge wedding, I have photographed lots of other weddings in Barns in Sussex. You can see a few here:
